which (as they are entirely helpless) they would suffer and die. We have there twenty six children between the ages of two years and seven - and as fast as they obtain the rudiments of a common education and arrive at the proper age we seek out for them good homes where they can become self supporting; and their places are immediately filled by others. We have reports from persons in whose families we have placed them, and are gratified to learn that they almost universally do credit to the Institution. Their Religious Eduction is properly looked after, as we have a regular Chaplain in attendance, besides the teachers of the School. We are unable to provide all the necessary food and clothing for these orphans without your aid. Our country is just emerging from Bankruptcy & we have more calls on our charity than we can possibly
