State of Texas Galveston Tex May 16, 1867 Henrietta Groesbeck, wife of Dalien Groesbeck of Bayland county of Harris, make application through Jon M Davis Justice of the Peace in Harris county, for her daughter Eveline Groesbeck now in the employment of Dr Phillips in the city of Austin. Evaline is about twelve years old. The mother wishes her with her that she make raise her aright and remove her from the city to the plantation in the country to aid her in her domestic duties.
