Notes on Transcribing this page (optional)
---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-10-02 16:29:03 table incomplete. Just hit "SAVE", do not mark Complete until its complete ---------- reopened again. Incomplete. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-10-03 19:52:12 still working. Not finished. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-10-04 17:16:27- -Harriett Burdin, not Harrieh -Wm (William) E. Drew, not Wes E. Drew -Tom Young, not Tau Toung. Confirmed in 100th Company G roster -Joseph Hiser, not Hesir, confirmed in the 115th Co B roster -W.E. Hobsen -"with discharge" not "muh discharge" -J.W. Hazelrigg confirmed from records as being a lawyer at that time in Mt Sterling, Ky. It is written slightly differently in the final entry as J.M. Hazlerigg. Have preserved as written in each case -please transcribe the abbreviations of states as written at the time-almost always lower case second letter. Ky, rather than KY. Only use a period if written that way. -"Lex" in the remarks column is abbreviation for Lexington, noting that is the location where the claim was paid out. Other locations include Cairo (Illinois), Louisville and Bowling Green (typically abbreviated as B.G.) -Wm Reavis, rather than Reans -Preserving misspelling of Middletown as Middleton -Simmons rather than Simons -final note in Charles Simmons entry is "Transfd to Maj G.G. Huntt 1st Cav. C.D.O. July 9/78, Inst A.G.O. dated July 1/78"
