0393 51 Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, Head Quarters Assistant Commissioner, State of Virginia, Richmond, Va., September 20 1867 Bvt Brig. Gen O. Brown Assistant Commissioner General The Board of Officers appointed by S.O. No 76 Head Quarters Asst Commr. district of Virginia dated Richmond Va July 9th 1867 for the purpose of establishing rent of buildings &c used by the Bureau, respectfully report in reference to the property described as follows, Located at Alexandria, Va Washington St. Size, 6 Rooms 17x18, 6 rooms 10x14, 6 rooms 8X16 - 6 Rooms 12x24, 6 rooms 14x16, 1 room 20X20- Number of Rooms, 31., Heating Apparatus The purposes for which the same is rented is for use as Offices, Industrial School, Stables, Clothing & Store Rooms, &c The name of the owner is K Kemper and the above mentioned board establishes the rental value of the same to be $50.00 Fifty dollars pr month.
