Genl: I have the honor to transmit herewith my Monthly Report of Persons and Articles employed & hired during the month of June 1873, also my Return of Public Property for the 2nd quarter 1873 accompanied by an Abstract of Articles Purchased & an Abstract of Articles Expended. Maj: I have the honor to transmit herewith my receipts in duplicate, for $324.80/100 being the proceeds of vouchers No. 12023 on the Asst. Treas. U.S. New Orleans La. an account of the claim of Clara Carpenter widow of Allen Carpenter late Pvt. Co. C, 55 C.T. The confidential list and list of claimants to be paid were also received. I have this day forwarded your letter to the Hd Qrs of the Army requesting authority to transfer his [[?]] Few [[?]] towards end of doc.
