which accrued during the year 186[[6]] for the following reason by:
1st that said land was owned and possessed by said Isaac B & Sallie E as aforesaid before the land was reported abanded.
2nd That said owners [[strikethrough]] they [[/strikethrough]] have always been true and loyal to the Government of the United States.

     Your petitioner therefore, respectfully requests that said rent be released, and the same be applied to the maintenance and education of his said wards who are really and essentially in need of the same, and as in duty bound your petitioner will ever say.
