I AB Schroder Clerk of the Circuit Court and Ex officio Recorder of the County of Phillips aforesaid do hereby Certify that from the records of my office and inspection of the Original Deeds as recorded therein it appears that Mr Edward H Cowley is the legal owner of the following lands to wit. Fractional section Number Twenty six (26) Fractional section thirty five (35) and fractional section thirty four (34) In Township One South of the Base line and Range Five East. and Fractional section Number three (3) In township Number Two South of Range Five East. of the fifth principal meridian and containing according to the U.S. Public Surveys. Five Hundred and sixty two 20/100 acres and comprising and including the whole of Island Numbered Sixty (60) in the Mississippi River. the above land was granted to the State of Arkansas by Congress for purposes of Internal Improvement. and sold to Henry L Biscoe. and from him the title to the same now is and vests in said Edward H Cowley.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand as Clerk aforesaid and affixed the seal of said Court at Office in Helena this 28th day office this 28th day of October AD 1865
