Transcription
of abandoned lands in and for Said County and State- Your petitioner would farther state that said premises were ocupied by his representatives from sometime in The months of February 1863 to about the 10th of November 1865 - since which time he has resided thereon with his family, that he has received a pardon by taking the Oath of Amnesty as prescribed by the Presidents proclamation of May 29th 1865 - and that he was not included in any of the classes therein excepted from the benefits of said oath- And in proof of which Allegations he would respectfully ask attention to the certified copy of his Amnesty Oath attached hereto and to Certificate of the County Clerk of Jefferson County Arks as to proof of title to said described lands - The premises considered Your petitioner would respectfully pray that his said described lands be restored to him as full and perfect a manner as though they had not been reported as
