Notes on Transcribing this page (optional)
"Freedman's Interns" would be medical students in their year of residency at Freedmen's Hospital - the historically African-American hospital associated with Howard University - at that time located on Bryant Street NW between 4th and 6th Streets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_University_Hospital). "Amstrong Man. Train." is misspelling of Armstrong Manual Training School, an historically black school opened in 1902 at 1st and P Streets NW (https://npgallery.nps.gov/AssetDetail/NRIS/96000893, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendship_Armstrong_Academy).
