EBp 229. | Roanoke Island, Apr 4' 1867. Recommends the public sale of certain Bureau Buildings on Roanoke Island. NC May 6' 67 States that they are anxious to carry on their school building. That no superentenat of Education has arrived. Estimated cost 4 to 500 dollars. May 16th 70. | Henderson W. F. Agent May 16' 67 Referred to F. A. Fiske Supt Education. | Lexington N. C. May 13' 1867. Reports that Robert B. Jones. has organized a school for freedmen with about 50 scholars near Jackson Hills- Has not books enough and recommends said Jones as a suitable person to be employed to teach said school.
