[[preprinted]]22[[/preprinted]] April 19, 1907 [[best guess - Rejoin]] 6^h-30 Identification of objects marked on AM 1792 superposed in [[?transparency]] [[strikethrough]] of [[strikethrough]] frm Am 3284. So many defects appear upon this position that comparison is very difficult. 1. South of Sirius: Bright on negative, faint on position, defect nearly covers position. Bright in AM 1785. Pecular shape in AM 1722. Bright in AM 1837, 1912, 2294, 2364, 2375, 2437, 2448, 3048, 3065, 3147, 3168, 3182 [[margin]] -17°1635 [[/margin]] [[strikethrough]] Apparent absence on [[/strikethrough]] Am 3284 shows that this star is really faint and its apparent faintness on the position is not due to defect. May be of Algot type. This is -17°1635 6^h42 27.8 - 17°53.397. See pp. 44, 45. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]]23[[/preprinted]] April 19, 1907 AM 1792 2. Brighter on negative than in position. This is the following of a double star. Brighter on Am 2294 than in 1912, 2364 2375, 2448, 3048, 3065 This is difficult on AC plates and should be examined on B plates. It is below -23 and therefore not on Dm charts. Approx. 7^h-27 This is C.Dm -23°4628 6 51 34 -23 ^1875 48.5 9.4 C.P.D -23°1628 6 51 33.4 -23 ^1875 48.1 9.6 No. 17 Checked by L.D.W. Confirmed on B plates. Faint on ^B 18107. Bright on B20598, where it equals [[?]] On 18107, it is 0.3 brighter than star [[?]], which is the preceding [[?]] [[ margin - sketch ]] on position [[?]] negative [[??]] AM 2364, AM2375, AM2437 (too poor) visible in AM2448, Jan. 13, 1904 AM2364, Nov. 13, 1903, shows faint stars but this star is [[best guess - visible]] [[best guess - Invisible]] on AM3147, Oct. 14, 1904 variability confirmed [[margin - sketch]] Period probably long. 6 Approx. 6^h 10^m -2[[strikethrough]]9[[/strikethrough]]6 No. 18 Confirmed on B plates. Bright on B14654, Sept. 16, [[best guess - 1895]] Faint on B24128 Sept. 12, 1899, Bright on B17956, Nov. 16, 1896. Range 3 [[?]]. It is nearly as faint as [[symbol - gamma]] on B24128 Continued on p.42. C.DM. -26° 2912 6^h 13 48.2 -26 7.4 (1895) 9.8. not in C.P.D. Ident. by L.D.W. on B14654. [[end page]]
