Anweisung zu lackiren. 145 Ein anderer guter Firniß. Nimm: Gummi Lack 8 Loth. Sandarack 4 Loth. Mastix 4 Loth. Kopal 2 Loth. Spiritus Vini 1 Maaß. Damit verfahre man, wie mit dem vorigen, so kann man ihn zu allerhand Farben gebrauchen. Ein anderer herrlicher Firniß. Nimm: Gummilack 2 Loth. Gummi Sandarack 4 Loth. Mastix 1/2 Loth. Gummi Kopal 1 1/2 Loth. Reinen Agtstein 1 Loth. Spiritus Vini 1 Maaß. Der Gummi Kopal und Agtstein werden in einem Schmelztiegel geschmolzen; die übrigen trocknen Stücke aber werden gestossen, und in einer Phiole digeriret, hernach durchgeseigt. Damit kann man auf blaue, grüne, weiße und pomeranzengelbe Farben lackiren. Ein schwarzer Firniß. Nimm: gelben Agtstein 3 Quentl. Sielberglätte 3 Quentl. Gummilack 1 1/2 Quentl. Mastix 1 Quentl. Judenpech 1 1/2 Quentl. Schiffpech 1/2 Quentl. Terpentin 1 Loth. Leinöl 1/2 Pfund. Die trocknen Stücke muß man stossen, hernach thut man sie in ein Glas zu dem Oele, und koche sie in einem Topfe mit Wasser an einem freien Orte, und seige es durch, so ist der schwarze Firniß fertig.
