It appears different from other images. It may be a defect, but is more probably an object in motion No.17 | Appears to be slightly brighter than usual on B 3739, but there is very little evidence of variability No.14 | In addition to the plates examined above, the following AM plates were examined 577, 802, 817, 1528, 15, 614, 907, 1589, 2109, 2129 2147. On all of these except AM 2109 the variable is bright. On that plate it is unmistakably faint. About as in B 3739. Probably a variable of the Algol type. No other plate found on July 12, 1903 (date of plate AM 2109). On plate B 4027 9.3 On plate B 3739 10.0 [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] 7 [[/preprinted]] September 21, 1904 Variables in Sagittarius Region cont. Nos. 10, 16 and 17 were looked for on the AC plates mentioned on the preceding page. No. 10 [[strikethrough]] 7 [[/strikethrough]] is too faint to be observed on AC plates. No. 16 was never seen. doubtless there is no star there. No. 17 shows no variation.
