Transcription Notes:
[[LeSueur & Smith, as a team, collected for the herbarium TEX. The "U. T." on this card must stand for Univ. of Texas. (per HUH's index of botanists)]]
U.T. [[No, the herbarium code "UT"]] stands for A. O. Garrett Herbarium at the University of Utah - see for example: https://link.springer.com/article/10.2307/2806529 - edited to reflect << I understand. But many of these cards use abbreviations for universities instead of actual herbarium codes. Going with TEX, as LeSueur and Smith worked with Texas and not Utah.
Per the instructions, these cards correspond to slides that were built with correspondence from herbariums and collections at these herbaria, and those collections which may have been parts of other collections, donated, or exchanged. << True. This card happens to list enough information to determine the actual herbarium.
