I have set my valuations opposite these drawings.

Now, in the above eventuality that I would be entrusted with acting as your agent, I would like you to give me specific instructions as to which of these drawings I am to purchase for your account, and also the total amount you would be willing to disburse.

It is obvious that such a purchase could only be achieved on a cash basis, and I would also like to be assured that upon my cable advice, the amount involved would be available to me by cable, probably in Switzerland, in order to close the deal.

Should such a procedure be agreeable the amount so transferred would not include my commission which could be paid to my firm directly in New York upon completion of this mission.

As soon as I would have been put in physical possession of the drawings I would then turn them over to the packer (you would recommend) for shipment by plane -at your expense- and I would assume that concurrently with the cabling of the money insurance covering the drawings would be immediately taken out by you.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
