[[underlined]] MOLESWORTH [[/underlined]]:  He sounds like a good fellow - I shall look up again the Le Sueuer reproduction should I have one - as you correctly state, it might be more of an historical document than an aesthetic one.

[[underlined]] CAVENDISH [[/underlined]]:  Revertingto the subject, did you find out whether he has a pair as the Burlington implied or has he but one?

[[underlined]] POLLOK HOUSE: [[/underlined]]  I am afraid this settles that ,  for the time being at least.

[[underlined]] MORS IMPERATOR: [[/underlined]]  I have not yet made up my mind about Valdes Leal and I would like to hear from you whether you think that the matter could be settled from New York upon your return.  Do you believe these people are sufficiently co-operative to turn over their painting, should we decide in the affirmative, to a packer for air shipment and would there be such possibilities in the purlieu of where they live?  Would they be receptive to a telephone call for the purpose of asking what the very best price would be for the painting, you having heard from your friend that he could perhaps be interested and that you would wish to prompt him by being able to quote a lower figure?

[[underlined]] MY DEPARTURE FOR EUROPE [[/underlined]]:  In view of the "Petrus Christus" and other questions pending I shall have to leave for Europe I assume before the end of April.  Though I have made a couple of tentative air reservations, I am still quite undecided as there are several other reasons for my remaining here a while longer.  Should I fly off around the 18th or 20th I would like to be sure that we will have had several days here together, and therefore do let me know what your return plans are.  I notice that in your letter to Van Heesch you mentioned April 4th -  this may be of course but to force his hand.  Thus do let me hear from you on this topic.
