Dear Sir:

Mr. Seligman turned over to me all papers pertaining to the two Mss. belonging to Colonel William Stirling and which are at present with J. Chenue. Please be informed that for the time being I put them on our general floater which covers while in England pending further instructions.

As this matter may escape Mr. Seligman while in Europe, due to his heavy schedule and limited time, please do not have the Mss. shipped before advising me, to enable me to take out a special Marine Insurance for the transit London to New York.

Wishing you a pleasant time,

Yours very sincerely,
