Dear Sir Alec:
Following our recent exchange of letters respecting the items to be auctioned by you and belonging to one of my firm's clients I am enclosing herein an affidavit referring to the two paintings as well as a copy of the affidavit referring to the Limoges Triptych I am sending to Messrs. J. Chenue by same mail.
It would seem to me that these documents should give evident proof of the American ownership and thus allow you to make payments in dollars. Sould these not be sufficient as I suggested an affidavit from the Paris Shipper Mons. Lefebvre-Foinet could be added confirming my declarations.
Do let me hear from you on this topic.
Sincerely yours,
(Germain Seligman)
