Thank you for your telegram about these two lots.  Photographs are being made of them for you.  I think however, that I ought to explain that the catalogue entries are due almost entirely to the owner of them.  Although I do not myself pretend to know ^[[much]] about such sculpture, I think I ought to say that I do not like the look of either of the lots.  I would not in the least be surprised to hear that they were both considered to be 19th century works.

It will be interesting to hear what you think about them when you receive the photographs which are being sent to you direct by Cooper's the photographers.
