Dear Miss Wittler:

I have just received a request to lend my small "Parade" painting by Seurat to the Cranbrook Academy of Art, their exhibition closing on April 10th.

From Mr. Stephen C. Clark's original letter of January 7th., your exhibition is planned from April 18th., to May 7th. This should, it seems to me, give ample time to have this painting forwarded directly to you from Cranbrook.

My question is how long in advance of April 18th., you would want the painting delivered. Will you be so good as to give me your answer at your earliest convenience, so that I may be in a position to write accordingly.

Sincerely yours,
(Germain Seligman)
