CHANGES IN THE BY-LAWS
OF THE
FRENCH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF THE
UNITED STATES INC.

[[underlined]]Article 1 - (new text)[[/underlined]]
The general purpose of the French Chamber of Commerce of the United States is to promote French industrial and commercial interests in America, to strenghten and further the economic relations between the two countries.

[[underlined]]Article 2 - (new text)[[/underlined]]
The Chamber shall be composed of French and American citizens, the latter cooperating with the aims of the Chamber to the extent compatible with their status as American citizens.

[[underlined]]Article 3 - (new text)[[/underlined]]
The Chamber shall be receptive to the suggestions of the French Ministry of Commerce and Industry, represented by the French Commercial attache, as well as to suggestions of the French Embassy in Washington.

The dues shall be as follows:

Patrons (single payment) | $2,500
Life Members (single payment) | $1,000
Active and Associate Members (annual payment) | $  100
Supporting Members:
a) Residing in France or in her Colonies 
(annual payment) | Fcs. 250
b) Residing in New York (annual payment) | $   25
c) Residing outside of New York (annual pay.) | $   15

Shall be considered as members residing in New York, members residing within a 50 miles radius of that City.

[[underlined]]Article 19 - (new text)[[/underlined]]
The Council may appoint, upon proposals of the Officers, Delegates of the Chamber in centers that it sees fit, either in France or in the United States.  Such Delegates may be chosen indifferently among the various classes of members.
