[[underlined]]BOSTON, MASS. - PUBLIC LIBRARY[[/underlined]]
[[underlined]]Contemporary French Prints[[/underlined]] in an exchange exhibition between France and the United States, under the patronage of the French Ambassador to the U.S. and the Trustees of the Boston Public Library as well as the joint sponsorship of the Cultural Division of the United States Embassy in Paris and the Comite National de la Gravure francaise.  Works by Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Segonzac, Derain, Rouault, Dufy, Chagall, Edouard Goerg, Roland Oudot and of 46 other artists make up the exhibition which comprises 173 prints.  Through November 30th.

[[underlined]]UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS,[[/underlined]] Department of Architecture, Navy Pier

L'Union des Artistes Modernes under the sponsorship of the French Government (Association Francaise d'Action Artistique) present an exhibition entitled [[underlined]]"UAM-France 1952"[[/underlined]] and comprising: 56 double panels featuring the works of 56 French contemporary artists in the fields of architecture, urbanism, interior decorating, painting, the graphic arts, sculpture, jewelry, book-binding, etc.

This unusually interesting exhibition, organized and circulated by Mr. Gabriel Guevrekian of the Department of Architecture, College of Fine and Applied Arts, University of Illinois, Urbana, Ill., will be shown during 1952, 1953 and perhaps 1954 in American colleges and universities throughout the United States.  On view in Chicago November 3rd to 23rd.

[[underlined]]The French Romantics[[/underlined]] - a collection of oils including Horace Vernet's "Preparing for the races", Gericault's "Self-Portrait" and the museum's new acquisition "Turkish Women Bathing" by Delacroix.  To November 28th.
