WJ ES December 28, 1931

Commissioner of Immigration,
Ellis Island, N. Y. H.,
New York.

Dear Sir:

Our Mr. Germain Seligmann had suddenly to cancel his departure per SS "Breman due to sail December 29th for which he had his ticket.

Mr. Seligmann is the President of our Corporation, and in view of the unsettled economic condition and the great efforts that have to be made to secure some business, he would like to attend to some business now pending, so as to bring it to a conclusion, if possible.
We beg, therefore, to hand you enclosed herewith his signed application in duplicate for an extension of time, both his applications being duly filled in, signed and sworn to.
We would thank you to kindly have this extension granted and forward to our Mr. Germain Seligmann your authorization to this address.
Believe us
Respectfully yours,
