Dear Miss Adams:

In response to your letter of December 27th, we have searched our Degas files for information on the Degas "Danseause Bleue" which you wish to reproduce in your publication.

Although at one time we have had in our possession a "Danseuse Rose" and a "Danseuse Verte" by Degas, we find no record of a "Danseuse Bleue". If you could give us further data -- especially as to where you saw the painting reproduced -- we may be able to locate it, since we would of course be glad to co-operate with your Agency.

Sincerely yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., INC.
