people are going ice-skating, tho so far it has been a snowless winter. Last Sunday mama wouldn't venture out so your folks came here to supper and I asked Erwin to our next city club dance Thursday.
one of the men in the next wing in the blue building where I work took me to a dance at the L'Aiglon last month, to one at the Mayflower Hotel last week and invited me to one at the Willard Hotel next month. Isn't that nice? Poor fellow lost his right eye in the war tho it is hardly noticeable.
Brenda wrote me a nice letter in return for a handkerchief I sent her Xmas, she is considering raising canaries!
Alice Fowler came home with her little daughter to visit her mother + Mabel Hubbard wrote me she has adopted a baby boy just a month old! A girl who worked in the office with me, the one with whom I went to New York on an excursion once, married a widower with a couple of children and she now has one of her own and she invited me to come up there to visit her. So I may plan a trip to New York some time next season. She married an artist but they seem to be well off.
Keep well and don't stay away too long.
 Love,
 Thelma
