I take pleasure in formally acknowledging the receipt as a gift from the Walter Rathbon^[[e]] Baker Scholarship of 579 speci-mens of crustacea; 20 annelid worms; 1 lot bryozoa; 1 sponge; 2 ascidians; 3 tow-net samples; 2 bottom samples; 11 water samples; a few dry echinoderms; a small collection of mollusks; 4 fish; 1 turtle and 3 frogs; and some geological specimens; - collected in Brazil, Uruguay and the Argentine Republic.
It is understood that this completes the collection of material made by you during 1925, while serving as a Bacon scholar for the years 1925 to 1927.
