Burpee's Self Pruning will satisfy the desire for a perfect "globe" tomato. The original globe has had several bad defects such as hard core and cracking at the stem, and failure in many cases to ripen uniformly. All of these undesirable points have been eliminated in this new variety.

The Crowning features of the Self-Pruning are its strong healthy vine, large- uniform, bright, globe shaped fruits, which when thoroughly ripe retain a solidity and brightness that is unusual. In productiveness, there is nothing in its class that comes anyways near it.

Today Sept. 22 after frost has stopped its growth the vines are still loaded with all sizes of tomatoes of a perfect globe-shape.
