Dear Sirs,
My experience with your Self Pruning Tomato makes me believe that it is sure to be the leading garden and market tomato.
Its non blight feature is a great value to all tomato growers.
I planted Truckers Favorite, Ponderosa, and Self Pruning seed in a hot bed in April. One hot day in May when plants were about six inches high, I forgot to raise the sash and when I noticed them, all the plants except the Self Pruning were wilted down, and they were as fresh as ever.
After watering and shading, the other plants straightened up also.
I planted about seventy of each of the above plants.
During a long drought in July and August my other tomatoes were very severely affected with dry rot. But I failed to find [underlined]one single tomato[/underlined] of the Self Pruning variety so affected. This I think places it in a class by itself.
