[[underline]] "THIS LETTER FOR PRIZE CONTEST." [[/underline]]

Gentlemen:

I am enclosing a few photographs of the beautiful sweet peas, planted from seeds which I purchased of you this past April. The assortment consists of fifteen different varieties, and some of them have climbed to a height of seven feet and over. I also purchased twelve other different kinds of flower seeds from you the same time, and had wonderful results with them all. It would be impossible to get a good photograph of these flowers: hence, I am only sending photographs of the sweet peas as they show up very good in a photograph.

Everybody that sees our garden wants to know where we got the seeds, as they are the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen, and you can be sure I take pleasure in telling them that they are "Burpee Seeds." We sure have a lovely flower garden -- it may well be termed a "Burpee Garden" as all the flowers in it represents seeds from "Burpee" only.

Assuring you of my continued patronage, I am,

Very truly and gratefully yours,
