Gentlemen:

The seeds I sent for arrived, and I have the best garden I have ever had. My neighbors told me that seeds grown in Pennsylvania do ^[[not do]] well in Idaho, but my garden has surprised them and my family.

Besides supplying my table with vegetables, since May, I have given away an abundance of vegetables from my garden to my friends. In this way I convinced my neighbors that Pennsylvania seeds grow as well if not better than seeds grown here. I have canned dozens of bottles of vegetables, and my daughter has canned a great many bottles for the state fair.

I wish you success in your work.

Respt. yours,
Mrs. J. E. Johnson
