For Prize Contest

We have had many gratifying results from Burpee's seeds. [[Ponders asa tomato ??]] and Sarvy [[?]] cabbage were especially nice.

A parsley bed, in what seemed a trying situation, was a great success. Last September young plants of Bridesmaid and Sune[[[?]] Queen varieties were set at the South side of our house where the sun merely filtered through seraggay[[?]] pine brought until about 2 o'clock, when the full force of its rays fell upon them. They began blooming in March - throughout April and May, when much appreciated, that bed was a glorious mass of large bloomers. I cut back, they flowered anew.
