Dear Dorothy:

In exchanging ideas gained from our experience with flowers this summer, I shall pass over the pleasure as I'm sure you felt the same thrills over each plant and blossom that I have.

And now for what I've learned this summer. Some of the plants were transplanted to poor soil; worse then we realized until a number of the plants, started there, died from lack of nourishment.

Most of the transplanted ones, having a good start, held their own. So it is with a number of people we meet. Wherever they go they continue working on their mission in life, doing whatever possible toward the profit or
