The crop was sold at 15¢ per lb (The highest market price for this variety in this locality to date) making an increase of $93.00 per acre

Frost was unusually early taking almost half of the tobacco in our neighbor hood but thanks to the rapid development of these plants [[&?]] 200lbs of my 5 1/2 acres

This increase was made without extra growing expense (labor, fertilizer or equipment).

My pleasure in having this crop cannot be measured so I give you results in profit.
