Deer Sur- Some years ago I up and reads a book what cum to Pete. 'Twas all about them Burpee seeds what grows good things to eat. Less by sum seeds I says to Pete, and raise the garden stuff. It shure is better'n all yure meat and that there aint no bluff. Pete says "I'll go yup, git the pen; write onions, beans and peas; tomaters, punkins, squash and then, whateveer else yuh pleas." So then it wuz yuh sent us seeds. We planted menie a row, and plowed and hoed, kep down the weeds, oh boy! them plants did grow. Our vegatables brought in the "dough". We sold 'bout all we growed. We kep sum for ourselves althow, we hauled in menie a load. Its Burpee's seeds for Pete and me, 'cause they will always grow. They bies our clothes and bread yuh see, I've told yuh, now yuh know.
