Messrs. W. Altee Burpee Company, Seedsmen,
Philadelphia, Penn.

Dear Sirs.-

A quickening of the imagination as we scan the pages of the Burpee Catalogue in the early Spring; the pleasures of anticipation as we select and plant the seed; and the joys of realization as we harvest the seasons beautiful bloom; such are the meanings of Burpee seeds to us.

Our garden is a tiny affair, a part of two city lots, but from the time the catalogue arrives in the spring until Jack Frost closes the chapter in the Fall it is a source of joy to all.

The seeds selected, the garden planned and planted, the entire family awaits the outcome, and when we secure, as we did this year a one hundred per cent germination of the President Harding Sweet Pea, we feel repaid many fold.

The garden, too, is a real family affair; Son is interested in Pansies, Daughter in Sweet Peas, Mother in Roses and Dad in vegetables and Dahlias.

There is good natured rivalry in its care and when the beautiful flowers appear, the home itself, the near by Hospital, the school room and Dad's desk at the office are all graced with Burpee creations of rare beauty. Burpee Seeds mean much to us.

Respectfully submitted,
