FOR PRIZE CONTEST

WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME.

To tell what Burpee's seeds have done for me, I must go back to the winter months when I was inspired to send for Burpee's 1924 Annual. When I looked at the beautiful illustrations I began having visions of what Burpee's seeds could do for me, and anticipation was a joy throughout the cold spring before even the crocus dared lift its tiny head.

When my first bouquet of Burpee sweet peas was arranged so it looked more beautiful than those illustrations I had studied and enjoyed I was supremely happy. The happiness of just admiring them was worth all I paid for the seeds. Yesterday, I picked a large bouquet for a friend's wedding and today an even larger one for the sick at the Sanatorium, the joy of giving. Our local florist has given me an order that will take all I have left today. so financial gain is added to my other joys.

I am looking forward to exhibiting at the county fair some of these sweet peas and feel confident that their wonderful size and coloring will make me successful there, thus bringing in more money, besides bringing the joy of success.
