WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME.

A cold, late Spring delayed the planting, but so far as I know every seed came up at the right time, in the place planned and true to its name.

I wanted to sell young plants, but our street was torn up from end to end, stopping all traffic. We have no village newspaper so I could not depend on advertising. Thus I met defeat at the outset so far as money profit was concerned.

But I set over one thousand American Beauty Asters and Salvias in the school lawn and gave plants, flower and vegetable, to more than fifty of my neighbors rather than throw them away.

I sold enough to more than pay my expense bill and every day now my neighbors ask me to come in to see how well their gardens look.

So my pleasure profit is many times greater than any money profit I might have gained and incidentally I won't need much advertising next Spring to dispose of my plants which you may be sure I shall have.

Therefore, Burpee's Seeds have given me a season of health and exercise and genuine, permanent pleasure and gratification.

I am

Very respectfully yours,
