April 4th 1866 to the head Commissioners of the freedmen Bureau of this State North carolina  We the under sines feal veary sorrow to complin to you of our condisan that Mr [[?Watcer?]] & mr Harleary Who calls tham Sealf agers of the freedmen Bureau they has Bound out or [[strikethrough]]sold[[/strikethrough]] sould our Children to they former Marster or Soume outher White men untel they are 21 or 25 years old  Some of the Boys &  Gourls is put under Marsters By tham are from 12 to 18 years old & if We talk of Goin to [[strikethrough]] talk [[/strikethrough]] take tham a Way they the marsters say that they Will Shote us & if We go to Mr harly he Will Not talk With us But Will Leave us & go & stand With the [[?Sceces?]] & Sir We No No other Way to do than to Write to you & We Beleve that you Would send & see us have our children Back and our Wages that We and tham Been at Work for ever seance the War Closes for if We have to Stand Jest as We are & No one to Look after us But mr harleay Some of us Will Be Worse of than When We Was Slaves & All So thes White ones that has our mothers & Children are Whipen & [[?Shaing?]] Jest as Bad as Be four the War & Sir Some of us Went & fought in the War & if We are to Be left so all our laber Was in vaine & all so Sir maney of us that Worlk up to Deacember 1865 Was [[?run?]] a Way With No one
