Mr. Levy,
Jacques Seligmann & Company
No. 3 East 51st Street,
New York, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Levy:

I am sorry that I have not been able to communicate with you earlier about the pictures you were kind enough to show me the other day. I have now, however, decided in the pictures which I should like to have from the Seligmann Gallery for my exhibition at Bloomington.

If the pictures are till available for this exhibition, which is now definitely scheduled from [[underlined]] March 19th to April 8th inclusive [[/underlined]], and you are willing to include the pictures in my show, I should like to have the following:

THE APPLE SELLER | by | Renoir
MOTHER AND CHILD | by | Tiepolo
HEAD OF A HARLEQUIN | by | Picasso
BEFORE THE RACES | by | Degas (was this a painting in oil or in pastel, as I am only including paintings in this exhibition.)

If these pictures are available, will you kindly have sent to me immediately, six glossy prints of each of these paintings, for which you may bill the Bloomington Art Association, care of the Midtown Galleries.

The painting will be called for about the seventy of March.

I should also like to have a history of each of these pictures, with a list of collections in which they have been, and where they have been published, and the authentications.

These pictures will be reproduced in the Bloomington newspaper with all this information and an illustrated catalogue will be printed of the exhibition. Will you kindly have your office phone to let me know when I may have the photographs, and what pictures are available.

Very truly yours,
