May 9th., 1945.

Dear Mr. Parke:

Following my conversations with you and Mr. Hyam, I wish to confirm the agreement we reached on May 7th., that you will attempt to sell privately, the four (4) tapestries of the "JASON and MEDEA" set, at a price not lower than Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($65.000.) cash. Of the selling proceeds you will have the right to retain a 10% commission. As I explained to you, I am acting as agent for the Estate of the late Lord Moyne, whose property they were.

This exclusive right which we are giving you, will remain in effect for a period of one month, and could probably be extended by mutual agreement.

I am appending a short description of these tapestries, to accompany the photographs.

By returning the enclosed copy with your signature, for which I will be obliged to you, you will indicate your approval of the above.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
