Dear Germain, 

In glancing over your letter from Saranac, I see that I neglected to answer your letter re the Stotesbury Collection and Indianapolis. O'Toole told me in N.Y. that it was to go to Indianapolis, after its exhibition on the Pacific Coast, and that Mr. Lily & Mr. Clowes were considering purchasing it en bloc, I think in part for the museums there and also for themselves; but when I was in Indianapolis Peet, the Director, told me there was nothing in it; and I believe it must have fallen through, as O'Toole is trying to arrange for its exhibition at
