Messrs. Henry Reinhardt & Son, Inc.,
730 Fifth Avenue
New York City.

Dear Sirs:

We have received your letter of September 8th and can not well understand your question, as we thought to have made the matter clear.

We can not tell you how to insure your property, but from our letter, you notice that you would be held liable for the total amount of the work of art which includes the joint owner's share, unless you can obtain a full discharge of responsibility, which we are not able to give you.

As we said in our letter, each party holding an object of art should insure it for the full cost price.

Very truly yours,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.,
