Dear Sir:

Mr. Th. Schempp, whom I saw in Paris a few days ago, told me of some paintings you own in which he thought I could be interested. I recall his mentioning a painting by Vuillard, of his early period around 1900, and, I think but am not sure, a Picasso, also of the early years.

As I have, unfortunately, very little time available, I doubt I will be able to go Luzern unless it were of very especial interest. I am wondering, therefore, whether you would be good enough to send me a photograph of such paintings or drawings as you feel you would wish to call to my attention. I particularly refer to Impressionists, Post-Impressionists, and 20th century artists.

I shall be at the abovee address until the 22nd, inclusive, and at Crans-sur-Sierrre, Hotel Eden, for a few days after the 26th of July and would appreciate hearing from you.

Yours very truly
Germain Seligman
