Truck or lighter men must apply to Delivery Clerk to locate their cargo.

Merchandise will be delivered only against surrender of a properly endorsed Bill of Lading, signed Delivery Order and payment of freight and all charges (if any).

To protect the interests of all concerned, it is required that a Delivery Order be prepared (ink, indelible or typewriter) on printed form or letterhead of last endorsee of the bill of lading, and presented to the Delivery Clerk on our pier in exchange for merchandise together with a properly endorsed Bill of Lading and freight release. A separate order must be issued for EACH truck, lighter or other delivery conveyance as [[bold]] NO [[/bold]] blanket orders will be honored.

Customs permit should be lodged with the Customs Inspector on our pier before the GENERAL ORDER time expires, otherwise goods are liable to be placed in GENERAL ORDER STORES by the Custom Authorities, WITHOUT NOTICE, at consignee's risk and expense.

Consignees are reminded that goods are at their risk for loss or damage by Flood, Fire, Water, Strikes or Boycott while on Dock, Bulkheads or near Pier.

All goods remaining on wharf five (5) days after entry of vessel may be stored at consignee's risk and expense.
