Dear Mr. O'Toole:-

I hope you and Mr. Seligmann had a pleasant and successful trip in the Mid-West.

I have been following up prospective clients for the several pictures we have retained. The young lady interested in the [[underline]] Marquet [[/underline]] is to be married May 14th and requested me to keep "track" of the picture if it moves on. Waiting for replies from others interested in the Rimbert and Max Jacob.

Are you coming over soon? We should go out to see the [[underline]] Odilon Redon [[/underline]] and note what progress has been made toward purchase.

Also please ask Mr. Seligmann to give you,for me, the very best prices on the [[underline]] Raeburn [[/underline]] and [[underline]] Smart [[/underline]] with all data.

I now think we should have them here for [[underline]] Mrs. G. [[/underline]] The photographs do not tell the story well enough for her (as I have found by past experiences) and if you can spare them for several weeks, the time is ripe.

I am getting favorable cooperation from several men who would like to see the [[underline]] Couture [[/underline]] sold to the Museum or placed here in a well known collection. But there is some criticism concerning the [[underline]] "dirt" [[/underline]] in the recesses of heavy high light pigment. Will you also call this to Mr. Seligmann's attention.

Awaiting your advice,I am,with kind regards to all,

Yours very sincerely,
