Mr. W. H. Thomson,
c/o The Thomson Galleries,
David Whitney Bldg.,
Detroit, Michigan.

Dear Mr. Thomson:

In answer to your letter of the 23rd inst., if you have a photograph handy of the Terborch, we would be pleased to have it.

As a matter of fact, our client is now considering a painting of that School, but has not definitely made up his mind, so that if I have a photograph on hand, together with particulars as to the price, I might be able to see whether he would be at all interested.

By-the-bye, it is years since I had the pleasure of seeing you and I therefore hope that the next time you come to New York you will call in to see me, as quite apart from the pleasure of seeing you again, I would very much like to show you several very important 18th Century English portraits which we have recently acquired.

In the meanwhile believe me to be

Yours very truly,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & COMPANY, Inc.
