Dear Mr. Seligman,

I am extremely sorry that you have not had a reply to your letter before. I only got back from Italy last week and wanted to get the latest news from Dr. Hell.

I went to see him last Friday and am happy to tell you that he has done considerably more and the painting is really now in a state in which it could be offered to a museum.

As I have to go away again to Germany and France, I have arranged with Dr. Hell that I will contact him on my return to London on October 25th and will then write to Boymans.
