Paris, September 16th 1937

Dear Colin Agnew,

You will recall that several months ago, I asked you whether I could have the large Pannini which you had consigned to the Paris firm, on consignment for several weeks in America. At the time, you told me that this was not possible.

I have just heard from the party to whom I had shown the photograph and who evidenced quite some interest in this painting, enquiring again whether he could see this painting over in New York.

You would oblige me by letting me know what the situation is now as regards this painting. I do not believe that I would need it in the States over a period of 4 or 5 weeks.

Trusting that you are enjoying good health, and with my best personal regards,
I am, as ever
Yours most sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
