My dear Dunn-Yarker:

I have just come back from my Summer vacation, and may I tell you it was with great regret that I didn't catch your eye in Brussels, because I saw you in the distance and I would have been so happy to have a little chat with you.

If you remember well, when I saw you in London, we agreed that I would write you about now, to ask whether the Rubens portrait was free and if you would like me to do something with it in New York? - Also, what English portraits you could let us have for November, December and January, for an exhibition of English portraits which we want to hold in New York.

Hoping these lines will find you in good health that I shall see you before I sail,

Kindly believe me to be,

Sincerely yours,
