Further reference is made to your importation per SS. Ilsenstein, arrived November 14th, 1935, entry #327759, Case 515, which contained paintings and frames.

Since the Appraiser has returned the frames as being produced prior to 1830, and in order to have same liquidated free of duty, it is necessary that you fill in the particulars on the enclosed oath, and have it signed by some member of your firm, individual name were indicated by cross.  Please return to us as promptly as possible, and oblige,
